About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage technology projects from initiation through delivery
Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Develop project plans covering scope, goals, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management
Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items
Communicate project status, updates, and risks to executives, developers, QA teams, product owners, and other stakeholders
Apply agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Coordinate with third-party integrators and vendors on external systems, services, and APIs
Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and create contingency plans
Monitor and report project performance using KPIs and other metrics
Drive continuous improvement and maintain team alignment

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–8 years of project management experience
Proven track record delivering technology projects, preferably in Shopify or eCommerce environments
Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and sprint planning
Experience translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello
PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar project management certifications highly desirable
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven ability to manage third-party integrations and coordinate with external vendors
In-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
