About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support field clinical specialist activities and business outcomes
- Deliver clinical education and operational expertise through post-commercial education and training for clinical end-users
- Certify centers, physicians, related staff, and Edwards personnel according to SOPs
- Interact with KOLs and proctors
- Educate users on device operation, handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques
- Develop and improve training curricula, materials, and tools based on clinical trial experience, guidelines, and SOPs
- Train physicians and hospital personnel through one-on-one sessions and structured in-service education programs
- Provide follow-up support during commercial procedures to ensure continuity of education and technical support
- Plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts with Sales and Sales Management
- Upsell in key strategic accounts with Business Managers
- Validate software and hardware updates in the field
- Review clinical support activities, market changes, assigned accounts, and competitive activity with the NSM and Sales Specialist
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field and training experience in a clinical/technical environment preferred
- Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and ability to operate general office machinery
- Good written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Moderate knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science
- Moderate understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology
- Moderate understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability, and adverse event reporting
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
- Adherence to company rules and requirements, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety rules
