About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead product vision and direction for a unified internal platform supporting global group travel operations
- Partner with Operations leaders, frontline users, Engineering, UX, and other stakeholders to define problems and align on solutions
- Frame operational problems, constraints, desired outcomes, tradeoffs, and success measures
- Navigate organizational risk, resistance, transition concerns, and adoption challenges during modernization
- Articulate and champion the modernization vision across technical, business, and operational audiences
- Set investment sequencing and roadmap across platform features while balancing near-term value with legacy migration
- Surface dependencies and risks, frame decisions, develop options, recommend directions, and unblock execution
- Coach and develop a junior Product Manager and a Success Manager/analyst
- Partner as a peer with the Director of Engineering to foster cross-discipline collaboration
- Maintain clear product documentation, acceptance criteria, decisions, scope, prioritization, and delivery alignment
- Support modernization of legacy systems over the next 3–4 years, with full migration targeted by 2030
- Drive continuous platform maturation and capability development after migration
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years in product management
- Experience working as part of a product trio (Engineering/Product Management/UX) in iterative/Agile delivery environments
- Experience with internal platforms, B2B software, or digital transformation
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity across multiple interconnected projects, systems, technical domains, or workflows
- Track record working in cross-functional, enterprise environments
- Ability to frame tradeoffs across competing priorities and facilitate alignment
- Interest in process, workflow, or service design
- Experience managing or developing other product managers
- Technical fluency sufficient to follow technical conversations, ask clarifying questions, and understand integration complexity
- Experience integrating AI into discovery, analysis, problem framing, and documentation
- Experience with travel industry, manufacturing, or fulfillment domain preferred
- Experience with legacy system modernization or platform rebuilds preferred
- Familiarity with domain-driven design or systems thinking approaches preferred
- Experience building AI features preferred
- Experience working across distributed teams preferred
- Project management fundamentals preferred
- Workshop design and/or facilitation experience preferred
- Change management fundamentals and/or management consulting experience preferred
- Willingness to travel internationally 4–5 times per year
- Ability to collaborate with team members in Eastern Standard Time (UTC−05:00)
