About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Make outbound sales calls to potential travelers who expressed interest through website and marketing efforts
  • Maintain relationships with past travelers and support repeat bookings
  • Independently manage a book of business while bringing in new business
  • Conduct high-volume outreach and follow-up phone conversations
  • Average 100+ calls and 3 hours of phone time per day
  • Use consultative selling techniques to prospect and initiate product interest
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Develop integrated sales strategies
  • Work 1–2 weekend days per month, with a weekday off when working a weekend day
  • Work 1–2 late shifts per month from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. MT

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong verbal communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals by telephone
  • Strong sales instincts and ability to recognize buying signals
  • Driven and competitive mindset

  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize work while collaborating with a team
  • Flexibility, multitasking, and ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience or a 4-year degree
  • Must live in or relocate to Massachusetts, or be within commutable distance of the Cambridge, Massachusetts office
