Champion Effectual’s Delivery Framework through effective Scrum or hybrid practices, facilitating regular collaboration with project resources, partner teams, and customer stakeholders to monitor progress, remove obstacles, and drive accountability for timely project completion
Coordinate staffing of customer workstreams
Serve as the escalation point for risk management and mitigation of customer concerns
Cultivate productive, trusted relationships with key customer executives and stakeholders
Understand customer business priorities and objectives, ensuring Effectual’s work delivers value, drives outcomes, and supports strategic goals
Prepare, schedule, and conduct project kick-off meetings
Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports and conduct weekly checkpoint meetings
Research client questions, including technical questions and billing issues, and provide timely responses
Communicate and negotiate adjustments to project delivery timelines; prepare and deliver change orders
Assess customer governance and cloud maturity; develop customized communication and governance plans
Allocate, schedule, and manage project-related resources, including resource conflicts
Review progress with team members and hold them accountable for task delivery timelines
Ensure team members enter time daily/weekly; review and approve time submissions
Monitor project financials and notify leadership and Account Executives of risks to timeline, budget, or scope
Prepare level-of-effort and duration estimates
Schedule stakeholder meetings and gather requested client information
Clarify deliverables, define client expectations, and negotiate definitions of done
Mentor and coach less experienced Effectual PMs
Support Account Executives in key meetings and identify follow-on opportunities
Maintain relationships and communication with third-party vendors, partners, and client delivery teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years as a Project Manager or similar role within a professional services or technology consulting organization
Experience delivering complex cloud migration and technology consulting projects; demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently on time and within budget
Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams without relying on positional authority
Excellent executive level and client-facing communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, manage expectations, and influence stakeholders at all levels including senior executives
Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand client needs and align solutions to achieve their strategic objectives
Demonstrated experience in business development, including identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and driving revenue growth
Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in professional services
Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Jira and FinancialForce
AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)
