About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own defined workstreams with support from experienced project leaders
- Analyse spending, suppliers, and operational challenges to develop practical recommendations
- Deploy AI-enabled data solutions to drive efficient decision-making
- Develop business cases and commercial strategies
- Drive procurements and negotiations to secure value for money for government
- Manage workstream plans, deliverables, and client relationships
- Bring stakeholders together to resolve challenges and reach decisions
- Support junior colleagues and share knowledge with client teams
- Help ensure improvements last beyond the project
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ideally, experience in consulting, the public sector or a relevant industry role
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Practical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Procurement, supply chain, commercial delivery, or transformation experience is particularly relevant
- Familiarity with UK public-sector governance, regulated procurement or business case approvals is positive
- Sound judgement and strong relationship-building skills
- Drive to take ownership while continuing to learn
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to client sites
- UK security clearance to SC with eligibility for DV or DV is welcomed, but not required
