About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own organic search strategy and performance across every market served, including content strategy, technical SEO priorities, and local search
- Own non-paid new member volume and non-paid share of total acquisition
- Set and manage the content strategy and roadmap across the customer journey
- Direct website information architecture and organic content experience in partnership with Performance Marketing
- Own scalable content creation, publishing, maintenance, and reuse systems, structures, and governance
- Own website content architecture, taxonomy, structured content, CMS governance, templates, and publishing workflows
- Establish editorial standards and workflows for internal and external contributors
- Direct content migration and content lifecycle management, including consolidation, redirects, archival, and adaptation
- Build the operational framework connecting content strategy, evidence, execution, measurement, and learning
- Manage the freelance copywriter and end-to-end editorial production workflow
- Own AI citation, recommendation, and referral visibility for Eleanor Health
- Establish measurement of AI visibility and use findings to inform organic, content, reputation, and distribution priorities
- Set strategy for entity, citation, structured data, content, and authority signals
- Monitor AI-generated representations of Eleanor Health and treatment topics and prioritize corrective action
- Own reputation and local presence strategy across all markets, including listings, Google Business Profiles, directories, reviews, and community engagement
- Establish cross-functional reputation management frameworks
- Address inaccurate, outdated, or unfavorable third-party information
- Own the public relations agency relationship and measure its contribution
- Own editorial distribution and syndication programs
- Own marketing brand strategy and governance, including voice, messaging, visual standards, and consistent application
- Maintain a scalable brand system and guide its application with design partners
- Own the design partner relationship
- Manage and develop direct reports and lead distributed internal and external specialists
- Partner with Performance Marketing, Access, Clinical, People, Payer Partnerships, Analytics, Technology, and other stakeholders
- Maintain a quarterly operating plan with initiatives, impact, owners, dependencies, resources, and timelines
- Build and improve measurement and attribution for non-paid acquisition
- Report performance against acquisition and visibility targets
- Synthesize performance, search, reputation, visibility, and customer-journey data into actionable priorities and hypotheses
- Maintain decision context and apply appropriate standards of evidence to performance claims
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years in organic growth, SEO, content strategy, content operations, or related digital growth disciplines
- Experience owning business outcomes rather than a set of deliverables
- Demonstrated results in organic search, ideally including local, multi-location, or multi-market search
- Hands-on familiarity with generative engine optimization, AI search visibility, or entity, citation, content, and authority signals
- Genuine curiosity and experimentation in the evolving AI visibility discipline
- Experience translating business objectives into content strategy
- Experience managing content systems, workflows, governance, and contributors
- Experience with CMS platforms, structured content, taxonomy, information architecture, and web publishing workflows
- Experience managing or directing people and specialist partners
- Comfort working with imperfect attribution and establishing defensible measurement approaches
- Ability to identify data limitations and translate evidence into decisions and testable hypotheses
- Ability to lead cross-functional work without direct authority
- Sound decision-making in a regulated environment, particularly around patient privacy, clinical accuracy, reputation, and public participation
- Ability to prioritize across a broad scope and communicate tradeoffs clearly
- Ability to build systems and processes where they do not yet exist
- Behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare marketing experience helpful but not required
- Multi-state or multi-location organic and local search experience helpful but not required
- Working knowledge of structured data and schema markup helpful but not required
- Experience directing public relations, creative, SEO, or specialized agency/freelance partners helpful but not required
- Experience with brand governance or design systems helpful but not required
- Experience with content migrations, CMS implementations, or major website redesigns helpful but not required
