About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and govern Credit Management activities across the Nordic region
- Assess customer creditworthiness and approve or recommend credit limits in line with the Delegation of Authority
- Monitor customer exposure, payment behavior, overdue balances, and bad debt risk
- Drive timely credit-risk mitigation actions
- Manage daily order-release governance
- Drive collection performance and initiatives to improve cash flow and working capital
- Manage relationships with external credit agencies and credit insurers, including Atradius
- Support decisions on payment terms, guarantees, collateral, and customer financing arrangements
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams on customer negotiations and risk-related decisions
- Lead, coach, and develop the Nordic Credit Controller team
- Provide management with insights on credit exposure, collection performance, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, directives, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Drive process harmonization, simplification, and continuous improvement across Nordic Credit Management and Order-to-Cash processes
- Act as a key business partner to Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Global Financial Shared Services
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Relevant experience in Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Finance, or Controlling
- Proven people leadership experience, preferably in an international or Nordic environment
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, collections, credit insurance, and working capital management
- Strong analytical skills and sound commercial judgment
- Ability to translate risk into clear recommendations
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of a Nordic language
- Proactive, structured, and business-oriented mindset
- Ability to set the agenda and drive actions independently
