About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the continuous improvement of critical processes
  • Plan, execute, and monitor SOX-based internal control testing
  • Conduct risk-based reviews and audits and identify control deficiencies
  • Map, analyze, and redesign processes, proposing improvements using a Lean approach
  • Support operational and administrative teams in risk mitigation
  • Develop and update policies, procedures, and risk matrices
  • Prepare executive reports with action plans and monitor remediation efforts
  • Serve as a point of contact for external audits and local, regional, and global compliance teams
  • Collaborate with multicultural and remote teams
  • Participate in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS / EAI)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid experience in Internal Controls, SOX, and internal auditing
  • Knowledge and practical application of COSO and risk-based auditing
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Intermediate Spanish is a plus
