About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage corporate insurance and risks, ensuring appropriate coverage, compliance, and claims follow-up.
- Administer treasury routines, including cash flow, bank account controls, financial transactions, and relationships with financial institutions.
- Analyze property, fleet, general liability, and life insurance policies, assessing risks and coverage adequacy.
- Monitor policy renewals, conduct market comparisons, and negotiate with brokers and insurers.
- Control and update the inventory of insured assets and values at risk.
- Record, monitor, and support claims management, including claim initiation, documentation, follow-up, and settlement.
- Support internal teams with questions and processes related to policies and coverage.
- Assist with compliance with internal policies and insurers’ requirements.
- Maintain relationships with brokers, insurers, and claims adjusters.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange transactions, derivatives, and Brazil and LATAM debt activities.
- Monitor forecasts and explain potential variances.
- Monitor bank balances and ensure sufficient funds are available for daily payments.
- Control, manage, and report bank fees, seeking cost savings and process rationalization.
- Update financial controls and calculations in spreadsheets and systems, reporting balances and operating cash generation.
- Calculate and verify interest on loans and financial investments, as well as derivative adjustments.
- Support the accounting of loans, investments, and derivatives.
- Maintain financial information in the Wall Street System.
- Ensure that banking contracts and agreements are up to date and duly signed.
- Prepare the Treasury monthly accounting close and support internal and external audits.
- Analyze and compare banking products related to fundraising, financing, foreign exchange, and investments.
- Participate in projects and Lean Thinking activities (EMS / EAI).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of financial mathematics.
- Experience in treasury functions.
- Experience with insurance, policy placement, and policy analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, and/or Power Automate is preferred.
