About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Frequently travel to customer sites
Troubleshoot issues related to technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software, and instruments
Support commercial teams and customers with technical applications and provide product training
Train and support distributor networks
Provide strategic and competitive feedback to marketing and product development teams
Independently lead or manage beta tests at customer sites
Collaborate with key decision-makers and senior managers on significant technical issues
Assist sales and marketing with pre- and post-sale strategic activities
Deliver customer training and workshops in person and remotely
Use service CRM software to identify and document customer opportunities
Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes
Travel internationally up to 80%

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors degree with 4+ years or Masters degree with 2+ years in NGS library construction (a combination of experience and education may be considered)
Hands-on experience with cell culture and tissue handling required
Experience with NGS sequencing instrument and sequencing run set up along with NGS sample and library prep workflows is preferred
Experience with cell biology, microscopy, and multiomics is preferred
Skilled in nucleic acids and protein analytical methods
Generate high quality and reproducible wet-lab data from established protocols
Demonstrated account management skills
Fluent in French and English is a must
Must be highly motivated and have strong problem-solving ability
Excellent communication and strong relationship building skills
Highly collaborative and adaptable; able to work well within multidisciplinary teams
High degree of comfort navigating technical project discussions
Must be able to work independently and as a team player
Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 20 pounds
Must be flexible in working hours as this position may require customer support during non-regular business hours
