About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and services using Go (Golang) and .NET Core.
  • Perform technical analysis of requests, problems, and incidents involving applications.
  • Investigate failures using logs, databases, APIs, and other technical evidence.
  • Identify the root causes of problems and propose permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Perform corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance of systems.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations.
  • Support the Support and Application Maintenance teams in analyzing more complex incidents.
  • Work collaboratively with Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and business teams.
  • Participate in technical analyses, refinement sessions, and solution design.
  • Analyze and maintain legacy code when necessary.
  • Implement improvements to application performance, stability, and availability.
  • Apply development best practices, code organization standards, and version control.
  • Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with other team members.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and integrations.
  • Monitor applications in staging and production environments.
  • Contribute to improvements in development, application maintenance, and system observability processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in software development.
  • Experience with Go (Golang).
  • Experience with C# / .NET Core.
  • Knowledge of developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of application architecture and system integration.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
  • Ability to create and analyze SQL queries.
  • Experience with version control using Git.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and development best practices.
  • Experience analyzing logs and investigating application issues.
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and communication between APIs and services.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to different audiences.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate with Support and Application Maintenance teams.
  • Analytical and investigative mindset.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems.
  • Organized and accountable, with a strong commitment to deadlines and deliverables.
