Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the engagement strategy and enablement capability for Lilly's cardiometabolic digital influencer stakeholder ecosystem
  • Turn external signals into recommendations, practical frameworks, and cross-functional action
  • Map partnerships and touchpoints with Digital Opinion Leaders and identify appropriate uses
  • Ensure engagement respects Digital Opinion Leaders' independence and educational mission
  • Identify ascending digital voices and define effective engagement practices
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement utilization strategy across verticals
  • Define identification and prioritization criteria with Ecosystem Intelligence, AI, and Technology leads
  • Provide recommendations on which stakeholders to engage and where to focus efforts
  • Build connectivity to top global stakeholders and maintain strategic relationship oversight
  • Design, pilot, evaluate, and scale new engagement approaches
  • Develop frameworks, toolkits, playbooks, and operating guidance with compliance guardrails
  • Design and deliver training; provide coaching and hands-on support
  • Draft stakeholder communications and support executive engagement preparation
  • Track engagement outcomes against relationship, insight, co-creation, and practice-impact metrics
  • Report results and improvement recommendations to the Engagement Strategy lead and cross-functional partners
  • Partner with U.S. and IBU affiliates to align stakeholder needs and best use
  • Track activities and stakeholder utilization against strategic plans and requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare external engagement, medical affairs, marketing, digital strategy, digital marketing, medical communications, or communications roles
  • Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States
  • Lilly will not provide work authorization or visa sponsorship
  • Ability to move from analysis to clear recommendations in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
  • Strategic judgment in defining new approaches with limited precedent
  • Ability to synthesize complex inputs for senior and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience driving alignment across multiple functions
  • Strong communication and ability to frame recommendations, tradeoffs, risks, and decisions
  • Ability to define effective practices in emerging spaces and translate them into frameworks and actions
  • Hands-on experience building Digital Opinion Leader or digital influencer engagement programs
  • Understanding of the digital medical education ecosystem
  • Deep familiarity with social media and digital health content creation
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, social listening tools, and digital engagement metrics
  • Background in medical communications, medical education, or health content strategy
  • Experience with social listening and NLP-based content analysis tools such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, Sprinklr, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with digital engagement platforms, virtual advisory tools, expert network platforms, community platforms, or content collaboration tools
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical compliance frameworks for interaction with healthcare professionals on social and digital platforms
  • Background in cardiometabolic, obesity, or diabetes therapeutic areas
  • Familiarity with non-US digital ecosystems, including WeChat/DXY, LINE, and Coliquio or regional EU platforms
