About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end project management for scaling, enhancing, and evolving Medical Affairs intelligence capabilities
  • Coordinate requirements gathering, prioritization, delivery timelines, and go-live readiness across affiliates, disease states, sources, and user groups
  • Translate Medical Affairs insights needs into platform requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Manage intake, prioritization, and delivery of platform enhancements
  • Lead business user testing and validation before release
  • Own capability scaling and adoption plans, including go-live sequencing, training, enablement, office hours, and change management
  • Serve as the business-facing SME for intelligence capabilities
  • Contribute to enhancement roadmap discussions and support agile platform delivery
  • Provide training and enablement on capability use and output interpretation
  • Represent business perspectives in governance and prioritization forums
  • Translate user feedback into product and technical roadmap input
  • Partner with FMSO, BI&A, FMSO India, Tech@Lilly, IBU teams, and vendors on global rollouts
  • Coordinate global stakeholder engagement and feedback flows across affiliates
  • Establish performance monitoring for usage, engagement, and measurable business impact
  • Document platform scope, roadmap, and reference materials
  • Ensure responsible AI, data governance, and compliance standards as the platform scales

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally within a technology, data, or analytics-enabled platform environment
  • Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or related field) a plus
  • Experience with enterprise Medical Affairs data, insights, and technology platforms, including Medical CRM, scientific intelligence, cloud/data platforms, and integrated analytics solutions
  • Strong technical fluency in data ingestion and pipelines, APIs and system integrations, cloud architecture, data quality and governance, identity/access management, testing and release management, and production support
  • Ability to translate Medical Affairs needs into actionable technology requirements
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear, testable platform requirements and manage delivery
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs across global, matrixed organizations
  • Experience partnering with engineering, data science, or IT delivery teams, including backlog management, sprint planning, and release coordination
  • Ability to explain AI/ML-enabled platform capabilities to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with medical or clinical insight generation strongly preferred
  • Experience managing enterprise platform rollouts across multiple countries or affiliates, including localization, training, and change management
  • Experience establishing intake, prioritization, or governance frameworks for platform enhancements or product roadmaps
  • Experience with vendor or external delivery-partner management
  • Familiarity with responsible AI, data governance, or data privacy frameworks
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate platform capabilities and roadmap decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to drive adoption and change management for new enterprise platforms
  • PMP, PgMP, agile/Scrum certification, or equivalent program management credential a plus
  • Strong process and operational mindset
  • Travel requirements: <10%
