Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct account-based selling to healthcare providers who prescribe and influence treatment for disease states represented in Lilly’s portfolio
  • Support medicines and appropriate brand patients as a credible expert and resource
  • Promote the full portfolio of priority products across multiple healthcare provider specialties
  • Understand the marketplace and tailor territory strategy to grow and own business outcomes
  • Navigate healthcare and payer landscapes to influence key stakeholders
  • Use business insight tools, data, and analytics to identify trends, priorities, opportunities, and obstacles
  • Implement new technologies, including company-approved AI tools and analytical capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience
  • Use Lilly’s selling, competency, and account management models
  • Learn disease states, marketplaces, clinical trials, and product labels
  • Plan and engage in patient-centered customer dialogues
  • Promote the business-unit portfolio across healthcare provider specialties
  • Achieve targeted sales and execution metrics while following company policies and procedures
  • Own customer relationships for product promotion, on-label medical questions, and general market access

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas
  • Demonstrated business ownership, selling/customer experience, and execution/results skills
  • Account-based selling experience
  • Ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts
  • Strong learning agility and self-motivation
  • Team-focused and emotionally intelligent
  • Bilingual skills as aligned with territory and customer needs
  • Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary
