About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and support the future-state vision and roadmap for consumer companion apps
  • Prioritize investments based on consumer impact, health outcomes, and business goals
  • Analyze research and data to extract insights and influence product and strategic direction
  • Foster a collaborative, team-first product culture
  • Manage internal and external partner relationships, scopes, timelines, quality, and roadmap commitments
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, user research, business analysts, and product owners
  • Champion consumer needs in product decisions using research, usage data, and qualitative insights
  • Advocate for intuitive, accessible, and high-quality app experiences
  • Provide input on requirements, workflows, designs, features, build, and testing
  • Establish technical standards and scalable, modular solutions
  • Communicate app performance, strategic direction, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Serve as internal subject matter expert on consumer companion app best practices
  • Define and track in-market KPIs with data and analytics teams
  • Depending on skills and interests, oversee UAT, launch execution, and/or research and data functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing) or relevant experience required
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in product management or relevant experience
  • Strong focus on consumer-facing digital products, ideally in healthcare or a highly regulated industry
  • Strong problem-solving instincts
  • Experience using research and insights to inform product development, usability/human factors expertise, or firsthand marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated storytelling ability translating research and data into influential narratives
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience managing internal and external partners, including scoping, timeline management, and delivery and quality commitments
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance considerations, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA regulations, is a significant plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
