About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform account-based selling to healthcare providers who prescribe and influence treatment for Lilly dermatology disease states
- Build relationships with dermatology customers to drive adoption of new and existing therapies
- Develop business relationships with state and local advocacy groups, teaching institutions, key influencers, and managed care organizations
- Serve as a credible expert and resource
- Analyze territory and reimbursement landscapes using business insight tools
- Manage accounts and understand key stakeholders in complex healthcare environments
- Engage customers using clinical, disease-state, product portfolio, and therapeutic marketplace knowledge
- Promote the full product portfolio through patient-centered customer dialogues
- Use Lilly’s selling model to help customers identify appropriate patients
- Use business analytics to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while following internal policies and the PhRMA code
- Collaborate with field-facing and internal peers to create a coordinated customer experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional certification or license required to perform in this position if required by a specific state
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not provide work authorization or visa sponsorship
- Two or more years of sales experience after completion of an undergraduate college degree
- Other work experience following completion of an undergraduate degree, or a graduate degree such as a Master’s, MBA, or PharmD
- Demonstrated business ownership, selling/customer experience, and execution/results skills
- Account-based selling experience
- Ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts
- Strong background navigating complex integrated health systems
- Extensive experience or thorough understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution model
- Experience selling injectable/infusion molecules in a complex reimbursement environment
- History of working with multiple cross-functional partners
- Strong learning agility, self-motivation, team focus, emotional intelligence, and influence
- Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary
