About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct daily maintenance activities with a safety-first mindset and comply with safety regulations and company policies
  • Complete maintenance work in accordance with GMP procedures
  • Complete work orders and post-maintenance documentation
  • Communicate critical equipment issues orally and in writing to appropriate parties
  • Lead mechanics and technicians performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
  • Execute maintenance procedures to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory
  • Train and guide team members
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs
  • Support maintenance planning and scheduling, including providing feedback to planners
  • Support safety and continuous improvement committees and teams
  • Troubleshoot, dismantle, and reassemble process pumps
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and reassemble boilers, air compressors, softeners, and heat exchangers
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and reassemble HVAC equipment
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs in facilities administration spaces

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-craft maintenance role within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Associate’s degree or technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred
  • Proficient use of CMMS (Maximo) and other Work Order systems
  • Proficient use of electronic devices, smartphones, tablets, and laptops
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to wear appropriate PPE when entering manufacturing areas
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and outside normal working hours as required
