About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Renew and expand partnerships with existing customers
  • Monitor district and educator engagement
  • Drive product adoption and identify opportunities to strengthen and grow partnerships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build trusted relationships with district leaders
  • Foster long-term customer success and deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Contribute to company revenue goals through district adoption and partnership expansion
  • Onboard and learn Ellevation's products, value proposition, sales playbook, and pricing structure
  • Develop a strategic territory plan and learn the assigned territory
  • Present Ellevation products and conduct technical demonstrations
  • Collaborate with regional teams on education policy, pricing nuances, and instructional initiatives
  • Work with Partner Success on engagement strategies for states and districts
  • Conduct demos, renewal calls, and other engagement meetings
  • Track sales activity in Salesforce and other business systems
  • Represent Ellevation at conferences
  • Close renewal contracts and manage and grow the sales pipeline of upsell opportunities
  • Visit partners in the field for upsells and relationship building
  • Meet or exceed annual sales quota
  • Build relationships with stakeholders in key districts
  • Share field insights with internal teams for product feedback and competitive intelligence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must live in California
  • 2+ years of experience successfully selling to the K-12 market
  • Experience and knowledge of the ELL landscape
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain 100+ partner accounts across territory
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels
  • Ability to succeed in a competitive selling environment
  • Travel up to 30%, with another section stating up to 50% with seasonal peaks
  • Strong technical proficiency and ability to navigate complex software tools
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM
  • Full-time employment eligibility; employer uses E-Verify
