About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and enhancement of Workday reporting and develop an organization-wide reporting strategy
  • Partner with functional leads and Business Subject Matter Experts to develop and maintain reporting and analytics requirements
  • Implement and automate data analysis, including data models, reports and data visualizations in Workday
  • Advise and support the business community by identifying needs and recommending appropriate tools
  • Define key indicators and prepare dashboards to identify issues and support initiatives
  • Support user training and change management activities
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and design solutions for business needs
  • Lead testing and deployment of configurations for assigned functional areas
  • Serve as primary contact and collaborate with implementation partners on deployment tasks
  • Maintain Workday architecture expertise across employee populations, including security, business process, data quality, integration and reporting impacts
  • Coordinate demonstrations of new features, solutions, communications and training assets
  • Provide post-deployment technical support, maintenance and system administration, including troubleshooting, integrations, training and end-user support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–3 years working directly with reporting solutions in Workday
  • Workday Certification a nice-to-have
  • University degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analysis, business analysis or human resources, or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role
  • Minimum of 2 years in business intelligence, data analytics or HR analytics
  • Strong experience with building reports in Workday
  • Work experience in an HR role is an asset
  • Strong data analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of a data visualization tool
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and business presentations
  • Ability to present operational problems precisely and concisely and solve them effectively
  • Comfortable working with all levels of management and collaborating with various stakeholders
  • Excellent collaboration abilities
