About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and execute Elsight’s U.S. Army business-development strategy with clear priorities, targets, account plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline, including opportunity strategy, stakeholder mapping, next steps, risks, ownership, and forecasts
  • Build trusted relationships across Army units, Program Managers, PEOs, acquisition stakeholders, government organizations, primes, integrators, and relevant industry partners
  • Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities from initial access and operational validation through budgeting, procurement, contracting, and deployment
  • Translate Army mission needs into clear business and product requirements
  • Bring actionable market insight to product, marketing, engineering, and leadership teams
  • Represent Elsight at customer meetings, demonstrations, industry events, exercises, and other relevant engagements
  • Generate, expand, and convert new and existing pipeline with Army stakeholders and industry partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of proven success developing business with the U.S. Army or within the broader U.S. defense ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of how operational demand, programs, budgets, acquisition, and contracting connect
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
  • Technical depth and growth-focused business acumen
  • Experience in defense-related or UxV markets is a significant advantage
  • Resourceful, creative, self-driven, and comfortable operating independently in a flat structure
  • Hands-on, accountable, results-oriented execution style
  • Prior experience scaling operations
  • Ability to build trust with partners and customers
  • Active, relevant network across Army units, PMs, PEOs, acquisition organizations, integrators, and/or prime contractors is highly preferred
  • Fast-paced, adaptive, and resilient startup background is highly preferred
  • Skilled at prioritizing leads, measuring performance, and applying repeatable processes is highly preferred
  • Polished, persuasive communication and native-level English fluency are highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience scaling a company from approximately $5M to $30M ARR is highly preferred
  • Willingness to travel internationally and executive presence to represent Elsight globally
