About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the accounting function and day-to-day financial operations
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Maintain robust internal controls
Manage legal business requirements with external legal advisors
Support ASX compliance obligations
Directly manage the bookkeeper and accounting team, including performance management, training, and workload planning
Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes and financial statements under IFRS
Drive ASX reporting compliance, including Appendix 4C quarterly cash flow statements and continuous disclosure obligations
Manage accounting across Israel, the US, and Australia, including consolidation, inter-company reconciliations, and entity-specific compliance
Own revenue recognition analysis and coordinate with senior management on complex connectivity and defense-sector contracts
Coordinate with external lawyers, auditors, and tax advisors
Manage audit processes and respond to technical inquiries
Leverage NetSuite for data extraction and reporting automation
Progress toward predictive analytics and AI-assisted workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of accounting leadership experience (Senior Controller, Director of Finance, or equivalent)
Experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment
Big 4 background preferred
Strong IFRS and ASX reporting knowledge, or willingness to rapidly develop it
Experience managing accounting teams
Fluent in English and Hebrew, written and verbal
Hands-on, ownership-driven, independent, execution-focused, and mission-driven mindset
Comfort with fast-moving, growth-stage environments
Comfortable using different tools and AI platforms
Willingness to explore and implement new platforms, especially AI-based tools, to automate processes
