About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform business analysis on technology and business improvement projects
Focus on stakeholder analysis, requirement development and management, and acceptance testing
Identify and clarify innovative business solutions aligned with divisional and corporate strategy
Use analysis tools and techniques to deliver cost-effective solutions and improve efficiencies
Participate in developing the Business Analysis Practice and Business Analysis Framework
Write and update Business Case documents
Assess and document business value propositions throughout project execution
Foster partnerships with customers and business partners
Establish and document business processes
Set up project and work breakdown structures
Track project budgets and expenditures and monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
Progressive experience in providing business analysis in employee benefits, financial services, technology delivery, or other related fields
5-7 years' experience
Achievement of or progress toward FLMI, CBAP, or CCBA preferred
PMP, certification in Process or Performance Management, or certification in Quality Assurance/Testing desirable
Experience working on complex, including Enterprise-wide, assignments
Communication, facilitation, collaboration, verbal and written communication, problem solving, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
Leadership and mentoring skills
Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models
Knowledge of computer software such as Visual Basic, Java, and SQL
