About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify and clarify innovative business solutions aligned with divisional strategic goals and corporate strategy
Use analysis tools and techniques to deliver cost-effective solutions and improve efficiencies
Help develop the Business Analysis Practice and Framework, including writing and updating Business Case documents
Assess and document business value propositions throughout business improvement projects
Build partnerships with customers and business partners to identify and represent stakeholder needs
Establish and document business processes
Set up project and work breakdown structures
Track project budgets and expenditures, and monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets
Perform business analysis across technology and business improvement projects, focusing on stakeholder analysis, requirements development and management, and acceptance testing
Mentor and role-model other analysts; collaborate with project leaders, sponsors, and stakeholders to support business value delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
10+ years' experience
Progressive experience providing business analysis in employee benefits, financial services, technology delivery, or related fields
Achievement of or progress toward FLMI, CBAP, or CCBA preferred
PMP, Process or Performance Management certification, or Quality Assurance/Testing certification desirable
Demonstrated communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills
Verbal and written communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time
Leadership and mentoring skills
Knowledge of design techniques and principles used in producing drawings and models
Knowledge of computer software such as Visual Basic, Java, and SQL
