About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all aspects pertaining to designated customer accounts
- Conduct telephone and electronic follow-up and closing functions for open work orders
- Ensure work orders are completed on time and contractual obligations are met
- Handle daily customer communications, updates, and escalations
- Serve as the main point of contact for designated customers
- Handle AP, billing, and service provider escalations/issues
- Provide administrative support including ordering, vendor management, scheduling, reporting, and purchase order coordination
- Provide administrative and technical direction and supervision to subcontractors
- Interface with departments to ensure equipment operates properly without service disruption
- Respond to facilities maintenance and repair requests involving HVAC, security components, IT equipment, and emergencies
- Maintain records, files, controls, and procedures
- Maintain a strong safety program within EFS guidelines
- Participate in budget/forecast development and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Conduct daily/weekly open-work-order reporting
- Maintain accurate office-related files
- Communicate with supervisors regarding work performed and preventive maintenance
- Attend weekly staff meetings and safety training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in facilities maintenance, property management or customer service role required
- Experience in managing service delivery for trades labor such as Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Roofing preferred
- Bi-lingual English-Spanish preferred
- Advanced proficiency in MS Windows Applications, including MS Excel and Word
- Ability to type a minimum of 50 wpm and have good writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make correct decisions with limited input
- Ability to determine when to escalate issues to the Facilities Manager/Supervisor or Account Manager
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with Operations Staff and Call Center Operations team
- Ability to critically think and problem solve
- Must be punctual, reliable, and demonstrate a strong work ethic
