About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide general IT support to ECS and local IT support groups at 50+ operating companies
- Troubleshoot Tier 1 through Tier 3 technical issues and see problems through to resolution
- Liaise with local IT teams as necessary
- Participate in acquisition activity, including pre- and post-acquisition activities
- Provide guidance and support to ECS and operating companies
- Manage computer, software, printer, and mobile device inventory, setup, maintenance, and management
- Perform endpoint patch management and monitoring for computer and server operating systems
- Manage Active Directory and Group Policy
- Maintain and monitor backups
- Provide end-user help desk support
- Deliver education and training and create documentation for non-technical users
- Ensure Corporate SOPs are met
- Work remotely and onsite at operating companies on IT projects and upgrades
- Travel up to 40% to US-based operating companies
- Perform other duties assigned by the IT Support Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience working in an IT Support position
- CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certifications or equivalent experience
- EDR support
- Autopilot, SCCM or similar configuration technology experience
- Ability to travel up to 40% to US-based operating companies as business needs arise
- Ability to understand and follow Corporate Security & IT policies
- Outstanding customer service
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Users, Groups, ACLs, and Policies
- Advanced knowledge of general MS Windows Applications
- General understanding of networking concepts
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and with technical and operational teams
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English
