About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Transition Project Managers on dynamic operations and projects
- Support assessment of clients’ facility needs, equipment, and processes
- Contribute to building and staffing maintenance programs
- Complete work-in-progress reports on current projects
- Prepare labor and material cost projections and budgets
- Identify, validate, and document client facility equipment and services
- Build process workflows
- Develop and deliver training presentations
- Manage electronic documents and records
- Prepare presentations for functional and cross-functional teams
- Support preventive maintenance program development and work order management
- Analyze labor, cost, and progress reports
- Support change orders, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Read and understand contracts between EMCOR and its clients
- Track KPIs and other business metrics
- Use Visio to map processes and create charts and graphics
- Participate in cross-functional team leadership and customer communication
- Participate in weekly feedback, monthly formal assessments, and a final performance review
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program from an accredited college or technical trade school, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
- Business degree preferred; all majors welcome to apply
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and interpret complex documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write professionally in English
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Planner, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Visio desirable
- Excel formula and PivotTable skills preferred
- Ability to reliably commute to Norristown, PA for onsite work Monday through Thursday
- Ability to travel occasionally, varying from 10% to 40% based on assigned projects
