About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the finance department with ad hoc requests.
- Pull and prepare data using SQL.
- Maintain and improve existing reporting and reconciliation scripts.
- Check data quality and explain what the numbers show.
- Participate in research on unit economics and plan-vs-actual.
- Build dashboards and data marts.
- Work with stakeholders from finance, commercial, marketing, and product teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–12 months of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a finance-related role with hands-on data work. Internships count.
- Confident SQL skills, including joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregations, and data quality checks.
- Experience with at least one BI tool. We use Tableau and Metabase.
- Good Excel skills, including lookup and array functions, pivot tables, and charts.
- Understanding of key business metrics such as GMV, ARPU, margin, conversion, and revenue.
- English at B2 level or higher.
- Ability to work in the GMT+3 time zone.
- Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy, plotly, seaborn, matplotlib) — nice to have.
- Interest in finance, such as P&L, cost structure, and unit economics, or a related degree — nice to have.
- Hands-on use of AI tools, such as agents, to speed up your work — nice to have.
