About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with fire sprinkler contractor customers
  • Provide expert trusted-adviser support and white-glove customer service
  • Discover and understand customer needs through fact finding
  • Identify and prioritize high-payoff sales activities
  • Meet established internal and external KPIs
  • Grow an existing book of business within an established sales territory
  • Track and update sales activities in Salesforce
  • Travel throughout the territory, including Northern Indiana and Central and Eastern Wisconsin, up to 75%
  • Present technical corrosion-control solutions, products, and services to customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in technical sales (preferred)
  • Demonstrable track record of success
  • Passion for building long-lasting relationships as an expert trusted adviser
  • Diligent, self-motivated, and determined
  • Willingness to travel regionally within the territory, up to 75%
  • Ability to be based within the Chicago, Illinois area or willingness to relocate
  • Ability to present technical solutions to a variety of customers
  • Ability to use company CRM (Salesforce)
  • Ability to work with fire sprinkler contractors and understand corrosion-related risks in fire sprinkler systems
