About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Understand customer requirements and propose the best resolution for application-based projects
  • Submit quality offers on time in coordination with BDMs, internal and external sales teams, Legal, PMO, and factory PSQs
  • Provide pre-sales and technical support to customers, business partners, and distributors
  • Provide technical support and attend pre- and post-order technical meetings
  • Update CRM data regularly
  • Review project requirements accurately and obtain clarifications and approvals before submitting offers
  • Submit offers on time while complying with the Delegation of Authority process
  • Participate in bid management, including valve selection, actuator sizing, and pricing of isolation valve products and field equipment
  • Act as a technical expert during the quotation phase
  • Liaise with Sales, Business Development Managers, factory PSQs, and Inside Sales teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering — BE/B-Tech Graduate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to establish priorities and multitask
  • Demonstrated teamwork or ability to work in a team environment
  • Detailed and assertive character
  • Ability to manage complex situations under pressure
  • Knowledge of isolation valve products, actuators, and instrument components is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of destructive and non-destructive testing is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of metallurgy, material science, and fluid mechanics is an added advantage
