About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review incoming orders to Stafford and create Bill of Materials for pressure relief valves using Master Parts Lists and SAP Variant Configurator
  • Create BOMs for lines under the engineering queue
  • Ensure BOMs meet committed team service-level and quality targets
  • Communicate with Application and Product Engineers to clarify order issues
  • Create new part numbers in SAP as required
  • Participate in and host RCA/CAPA sessions for external BOM errors
  • Support Stafford Engineering with parts clean-up activities and Master Parts List updates
  • Provide technical support for Application and Documentation teams
  • Check correctness and duplicates and approve newly created part numbers
  • Modify, transfer, or delete existing part numbers according to Product Engineer requirements
  • Create new classes, characteristics, and values in SAP as specified by the Product Engineer
  • Perform data clean-up and mass changes as required
  • Support data extraction activities in SAP and MS Excel
  • Maintain records of work completed, team metrics, and monthly reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Strong communication skills in English – both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Good attention to detail and technical soundness
  • Ability to collaborate and learn about different products
  • Preferred: 2+ years’ industry work experience with experience in BOM function
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of pressure relief valves, regulators, ASME and API standards
  • Preferred: Knowledge of applicable international codes and standards
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of SAP
