About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and accelerate Emerson/NI business growth in the semiconductor production test market
  • Act as a high-impact business leader in the region
  • Drive new business growth and execute Semiconductor & Electronics Business Unit strategies
  • Advocate for top customers' requirements and schedules
  • Collaborate with the business unit and account managers using mixed-signal domain expertise
  • Refine business strategy, identify target accounts, and execute account objectives
  • Validate NI's offering and secure customer commitment
  • Develop and maintain a business plan to expand share of market across the region
  • Prioritize key objectives and activities for business and account teams
  • Guide NI's technical resource investments by providing business justification
  • Represent the voice of the customer within the business unit to influence strategy and product roadmap
  • Collaborate with technical marketers, product managers, and R&D teams to create technical content
  • Work with NI test integration partners to identify new markets and jointly develop business
  • Develop relationships with subject matter experts and leadership within target customer accounts
  • Position innovative solutions to customer needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in the semiconductor production test industry
  • Strong understanding of the semiconductor production test ATE market
  • Experience and knowledge of the semiconductor test ecosystem, including ATE competition, OSATs, test houses, and test cell providers
  • Preferred understanding and experience in the optoelectronics market and/or wafer parametric and semiconductor reliability market
  • Sales, business development, product management, or technical marketing experience appreciated
  • Proven ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrated experience creating growth strategies and driving adoption of technical products and solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills required
  • Up to 40% travel expected
  • Only U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 22 CFR §120) may be considered
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not provided
  • Temporary visa holders and individuals requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible
  • Master's STEM degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
