About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and maintain part numbers, bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and related product data within PLM and ERP systems.
  • Process engineering change requests, change orders, and change actions across the product lifecycle.
  • Analyze proposed design changes, perform where-used analysis, and evaluate impacts to product configurations, documentation, and manufacturing processes.
  • Review design release documentation for configuration identification, compliance requirements, and data quality standards.
  • Coordinate implementation workflows by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and supporting timely completion of change-related activities.
  • Support new product development and sustaining engineering projects by maintaining product structures and configuration records.
  • Manage ERP and PLM metadata, validate product information, and maintain configuration traceability.
  • Identify process, tool, and data-quality improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on product lifecycle and change management processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
  • Two (2) years experience supporting configuration management, product data management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related technical environment.
  • Experience working with product data, bills of materials (BOMs), technical documentation, or engineering change processes.
  • Working knowledge of configuration management principles and product lifecycle processes.
  • Experience using PLM, ERP, or similar business systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities effectively.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future; temporary visas and candidates needing sponsorship are not eligible for hire.
