About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire goods and services that do not form part of the portfolio product but are vital to daily company operations and projects
  • Identify, qualify, and select suppliers of services and indirect goods
  • Build long-term supplier alliances and ensure compliance with SLAs
  • Centralize purchasing to prevent duplication and leverage volume discounts
  • Design and lead tender processes; negotiate prices, discounts, and payment terms
  • Draft, review, renew, or terminate legal agreements with the Legal Department
  • Ensure contracts comply with current legislation and protect operational and financial interests
  • Implement cost-reduction initiatives and identify savings within fragmented spending
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Human Resources, IT, department directors, plant managers, Legal, and Finance to understand requirements
  • Prevent off-contract purchases and ensure adherence to procurement processes
  • Manage the purchasing cycle from order issuance through service receipt and invoice verification
  • Resolve supplier delays, billing errors, and quality issues
  • Manage procurement of support services, spare parts, marketing, office supplies, and professional services
  • Evaluate Total Cost of Ownership for recurring purchases and projects
  • Ensure supplier legal, financial, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Intermediate English level
  • Intermediate legal knowledge, with ability to understand and manage contractual and compliance-related requirements
  • Advanced supplier relationship management skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing and procurement within a high-mix manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience, including team management, development, and performance oversight
  • Experience leading end-to-end negotiation and contracting processes, including supplier sourcing, RFQ, commercial negotiations, contract drafting, review, and execution of SLAs and NDAs
  • Experience partnering with department directors, plant managers, legal, and finance teams
  • Experience in supplier development, including identification, sourcing, evaluation, qualification, and ongoing management of service providers
  • Strategic sourcing and supplier management
