About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide professional, accurate, and timely support for customer enquiries
  • Act as a key point of contact for quotations, orders, and order status updates
  • Prepare and issue accurate quotations according to procedures, pricing guidance, and approval requirements
  • Collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
  • Review and process customer purchase orders before entry into business systems
  • Generate order acknowledgements and associated documentation
  • Support contract review activities and identify customer, commercial, documentation, delivery, and compliance requirements
  • Communicate with customers and stakeholders about order progress, shipment updates, and service requests
  • Maintain customer, quotation, and order information in approved systems and databases
  • Support quality, trade compliance, and ethical business practices through accurate record keeping
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively across teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A higher education qualification, vocational qualification, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in customer service, customer support, sales administration, order management, or a related field
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet agreed deadlines
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP (Oracle & JDE) and CRM systems preferred
  • Experience supporting international customers, sales organisations, or channel partners preferred
  • Knowledge of quotation management, contract review, customer support, or order management processes preferred
