About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review project specifications, understand requirements, and gather relevant technical data
- Create new drawings using CAD tools for support requests raised by Stafford Engineers
- Revise existing engineering drawings for engineering change notices raised by Stafford Engineers
- Support submittal drawings and revisions based on customer comments
- Create 3D models using CAD tools
- Improve the existing drawing system by including other models
- Provide engineering support including design modification, stack-up analysis, GD&T proposals, and issue solving to the Stafford team
- Maintain records of all work completed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Foundational knowledge of AUTOCAD
- Strong communication skills in English – both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to review customer drawing templates and customize company drawings
- Preferred: 3+ years’ industry work experience in design engineering, modelling or drafting
- Preferred: Engineering design projects and knowledge of ANSYS
- Preferred: Working knowledge of pressure relief valves, regulators, ASME and API standards
- Preferred: Learning agility for fast learning of work processes
- Preferred: Working knowledge of AUTOCAD
