About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical sales and application support to Emerson Automation Solutions Rosemount by performing order sizing for Rosemount Measurement (DP Flow) and resolving Production Redlight
  • Provide technical support and act as a resource person to Project Engineers, Project Execution Leads, Inside Sales Engineers, Business Administrators, Manufacturing Engineers, and Technical Support Administrators regarding the product sizing process
  • Perform order quality audits on booked orders for Rosemount products
  • Identify and assign Redlight to booked orders and prevent manufacturing Redlight

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering courses
  • At least 1.5 years of technical support experience related to process automation, control, and optimization technologies and services
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Excel
  • Intermediate knowledge of instrumentation products and engineering principles, especially with process measurement products and principles
  • Intermediate knowledge of business tools such as Oracle, Toolkit, Product Advisor (PA), CRM, SSRS, Rosewire, Engineering Assistant 5, and Engineering Assistant 6
  • Willingness to work on a night shift schedule
