About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical sales and application support to Emerson Process Management Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
  • Handle proposal and quotation management.
  • Perform commercial and technical screening of orders.
  • Manage orders from entry to booking.
  • Monitor workload management.
  • Communicate with customers via email and calls.
  • Support internal ANZ sales engineers via email and calls.
  • Provide customer service to Emerson as a member of the Manila Australia New Zealand Alliance Team (MANZAT).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any engineering-related courses.
  • At least 3 years of actual experience in proposal generation and order management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation products.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic knowledge of Emerson Measurement Solutions products, including Rosemount Measurement, Flow, Micromotion, Analytical, etc.
  • Strong drive for results and passion and enthusiasm to get things done.
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently and generate accurate, high-quality reports.
  • Proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and collaborate effectively with people at any level.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
