About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design non-complex engineering solutions under direction
- Read and interpret process drawings, including PFDs and P&IDs
- Design and implement medium hardware databases, logic, graphics, and datalinks
- Review application documentation for quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Generate project documentation
- Work with project technical leaders to verify requirements are met
- Follow technical and administrative instructions
- Solve technical problems using standard procedures, modified procedures, experience, or previously developed methods
- Collaborate with partners to meet project requirements and deadlines
- Communicate with Technical Leads and Team Leads
- Collaborate proactively with teammates
- Apply self-learning and self-development to understand tools and DCS engineering applications
- Execute assigned projects and services while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Execute project tasks and site services according to quality, delivery date, and assigned budget
- Update department technical documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement and innovation activities
- Support projects for regional offices in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and the United States
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree in a related field
- Ability to travel up to 40%
- Basic instrumentation knowledge
- Basic ISA symbology knowledge
- Basic-intermediate level of English
- At least 1 year of experience in DCS or PLC/SCADA in industrial automation
- Portuguese is a plus
