About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with the Sales team and customers to develop comprehensive project scopes for custom power and water applications
  • Conduct site walkdowns and develop cost estimates for retrofit engineering and installation projects
  • Develop technical specifications and coordinate with third-party vendors
  • Evaluate contractor bids for installation work
  • Manage and coordinate regional projects, including planning and scheduling activities
  • Lead technical and project meetings and document outcomes
  • Design, review, implement, and test control systems for power and water applications
  • Develop and maintain control system databases, logic, and operator interfaces
  • Support installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites
  • Provide technical guidance and engineering support to customers and internal teams
  • Build and sustain customer relationships through clear verbal and written communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, related STEM degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Understanding basic networking
  • Computer assembly/troubleshooting experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of a working power plant and all sub-systems
  • Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time; travel requirement will be seasonal
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Preferred: Working understanding of Ladder Logic, SAMA diagrams, and P&ID prints
  • Preferred: Experience with DCS/PLC controls
  • Preferred: 5+ years of control experience in the power and water/wastewater treatment industries
