About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a Field Service Engineer / Senior Engineer and Lifecycle Project Services Expert
  • Execute Small Expansion, Ad-hoc, Add-On Batch, and Small Logic & Graphics Development jobs under Lifecycle Services
  • Execute lifecycle services for the North Region and other regions when necessary
  • Support DeltaV Upgrade projects, including SAT witnessing and Project-to-Service Handover documentation according to standard checklists
  • Implement cybersecurity solutions
  • Drive BCA and SES sales enablement programs, generate reports, and conduct customer workshops for lead generation
  • Generate approximately 40–50 KUSD in additional regional revenue through the sales enablement initiative
  • Pursue professional certification as an SME in Cybersecurity, Virtualization, DeltaV SIS, and DeltaV Live
  • Execute PSS DeltaV DCS services, including AMC, PWAMC, PWCAMC, ST100, ST200, and chargeable service visits
  • Provide technical support for Guardian / Essential Support customers, DeltaV Batch, DeltaV SIS, SIS Charms, DeltaV Charms, VIM, third-party communications, system maintenance, and in-house service support
  • Generate leads for Lifecycle Service business opportunities
  • Deliver services in alignment with SMO standards
  • Collaborate with mentors, team members, other sites, departments, customers, and sales teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) — basic requirement
  • Knowledge of Pharma, Chemical Industry, or Refinery is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Batch, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, Networking, Safety Systems, and handling of Charms I/O
  • Proficiency in Cybersecurity and knowledge of AMS preferred
  • Relevant certifications held or pursued, with continued development in the product and certification domain
  • B.E. / B. Tech in Instrumentation, ECE, or Electrical
  • Candidates with degrees in other engineering disciplines and experience in a similar field can be considered
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to interact with customers, sales force, other sites, and departments
  • Willingness to learn and apply process improvement methodologies
