About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support project technical analysis and manufacturing activities
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams on constructability, manufacturability, and assembly questions
  • Assist with project execution, including preparing technical submittals and responding to customer technical inquiries
  • Develop Bills of Material (BOMs) within the MRP system
  • Create and maintain kits and subassemblies for standard product lines
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness
  • Support project managers and production managers with manufacturing and project activities
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation
  • Support communication among engineering, manufacturing, and project teams
  • Contribute to cross-functional problem solving and process improvement throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline
  • Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Summer/Fall (Jan 2027-Aug 2027) Co-op experience in St. Louis, MO
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Sponsorship will not be provided
  • Previous co-op or intern experience is a plus
  • Leadership experience in a student organization is preferred
  • Coursework involving automation, PLC, process controls, or simulation is preferred
  • Technical curiosity and eagerness to understand products, systems, and processes
