About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete a four-year, two-rotation MBA Leadership Program
- Work closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams on strategic recurring and project-based assignments
- Connect Emerson’s senior leadership with the investment community
- Deliver messages about Emerson’s strategy and financial performance to financial analysts and investors
- Support earnings calls, investor conferences, roadshows, and other financial events by preparing presentations, Q&A materials, talking points, and briefing documents
- Contribute financial analysis, analytics, and insights to investor relations strategy and messaging
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align financial messaging and strategic priorities
- Build and maintain complex financial models for Emerson and its peers
- Analyze consensus models and perform comparative analytics against internal forecasts
- Maintain and optimize the CRM system and investor engagement records
- Participate in investor and sell-side analyst meetings
- Complete a second role at Emerson aligned with skills, aspirations, and development opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, science, business, or a related field
- Recently completed or are working towards the completion of an MBA
- You have 1-3 years’ relevant experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- No work authorization sponsorship is provided; individuals needing sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for hire
- Demonstrated leadership potential
- Ambition to take on complex and challenging problems
- Curiosity to learn and build your network
- Ability to acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems
- Ability to anticipate future trends and implications accurately
- Ability to effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels
