About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Work as a Marketing Strategic Planner in Emerson’s Enterprise Marketing team during the first rotation
  • Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams on enterprise-wide initiatives

  • Help shape strategic priorities supporting long-term growth and transformation
  • Participate in leadership development programs, executive mentorship, and networking opportunities
  • Identify a second Emerson role aligned with skills, aspirations, interests, and development opportunities
  • Continue accelerated development in the second role
  • Build foundational experiences, an expansive network, and mastered competencies to prepare for senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, science, business, or a related field
  • Recently completed or are working towards the completion of an MBA
  • 1-3 years’ relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership potential
  • Ability to take on complex and challenging problems
  • Curiosity to learn and build a professional network
  • Ability to acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems
  • Ability to anticipate future trends and implications accurately
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small-group, large-group, and diverse settings
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require current or future work authorization sponsorship
