About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the engineering design and commissioning of water and wastewater projects
- Provide direct engineering advisory assistance to customers
- Serve as a liaison within the company on equipment-related issues
- Direct personnel engaged in installation, modification, or repair of control systems, subsystems, and equipment
- Develop and track project and commissioning plans
- Estimate and communicate project resource needs
- Monitor project financials to ensure completion on budget and schedule
- Optimize global engineering resources in support of project objectives
- Identify and support business efficiency and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, A/E firms, and customers to identify solutions to customer concerns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a similar technical educational curriculum, or significant relevant experience in lieu of education
- 5+ years of related experience in an engineering environment
- Previous experience working with control systems
- Prior commissioning experience
- Ability to work in both an office and field setting, depending on project execution phase
- Ability to travel up to 10% in North America
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
- Preferred: Experience in Water or Wastewater industry
