About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to automation and control system projects across power generation and water/wastewater applications
- Collaborate with project teams, engineering peers, and cross-functional partners
- Support system design, configuration, testing, and implementation activities
- Support project lifecycle activities, including documentation, reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Participate in knowledge sharing, process improvement initiatives, and technical collaboration across North American teams
- Adapt to different project environments and business needs
- Engage with customers and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver customized automation and control solutions using modern software and hardware platforms, including virtualization, simulation, and remote support technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a technical related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in an automation, technical, or project-engineering based role
- Working knowledge of engineering fundamentals, system design concepts, and structured problem-solving approaches
- Experience contributing to projects in industrial, infrastructure, energy, or technology-driven environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must not require sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future
- Experience with control systems, automation platforms, or industrial software solutions
- Exposure to power generation, renewable energy, water, or wastewater industries
- Experience supporting projects through multiple phases, from design to implementation or support
- Comfort presenting technical information to varied audiences
- Familiarity with simulation tools, virtualization technologies, or remote support environments
