About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design, configuration, and implementation of digital twin simulation systems meeting customer and project requirements
  • Develop, test, and validate control logic models replicating real-world power plant operations in simulated environments
  • Collaborate with process simulation engineers, project managers, and cross-functional partners to solve problems and share learnings
  • Participate in customer-facing simulation validation, performance testing, and acceptance testing
  • Support senior engineers on global and cross-disciplinary projects
  • Learn simulation tools, automation platforms, and industry standards
  • Support development and improvement of internal tools and processes for digital twin project efficiency
  • Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, quality, and safety

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on engineering experience related to process automation, simulation, or controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn new tools and concepts efficiently
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred
  • Experience with simulation platforms such as HYSYS, MATLAB, or Simulink preferred
  • Exposure to power generation systems, plant operations, or industrial environments preferred
  • Prior experience supporting customer-facing projects, training programs, or technical workshops preferred
