About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute global strategies driving growth for Emerson’s Precision Fluid Control semiconductor segment
- Own semiconductor market intelligence, including customer trends, application requirements, competitive activity, technology developments, and industry growth drivers
- Lead Voice of Customer activities to identify customer challenges, emerging application needs, portfolio opportunities, and competitive gaps
- Build and maintain the Semiconductor Portfolio opportunities
- Document, qualify, and recommend portfolio and application opportunities for Product Management and SBU leadership review
- Translate customer and market insights into portfolio opportunities, roadmap recommendations, and investment priorities
- Collaborate with Product Management, MarCom, and Sales on product launches, commercialization, and customer adoption
- Lead development and execution of the semiconductor segment growth strategy, including growth programs, competitive displacement initiatives, and strategic account opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Technology Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry, or Segment Marketing experience within an adjacent high-tech industry
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in Semiconductor, Electronics, Automation, Industrial Technologies, or other high-growth technology markets
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing market, customer, application, and competitive intelligence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to convert data and market insights into actionable business recommendations
- Experience supporting Voice of Customer initiatives, market research, opportunity assessment, growth strategy development, or portfolio planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate with both technical and commercial audiences
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
