About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the monthly reporting process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting to Site, BU, and WA stakeholders
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, meet reporting deadlines, and explain variances
- Analyze and review SG&A cost centers and provide commentary on major deviations
- Support monthly forecasting, Mid Year Review, and annual budgets
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Analyze monthly financials before and after HFM uploads
- Review monthly journal entries for GL postings
- Analyze and respond to queries from Site Controllers, WA, and BU Finance Operations
- Support and perform Site POR rolling-budget activities according to WA timelines
- Discuss Orders Funnel data with business managers and prepare year-to-date data and forecasts for the remainder of the year
- Clear balance-sheet open and aged items, including bank reconciliations, petty cash, tax balances, payroll-related GLs, supplier advances, and lease accounts
- Create and maintain the recurring-vendor invoice coding database and ensure correct invoice coding and Esker approvals
- Prepare MIS reports and management decks for finance stakeholders
- Calculate intercompany recharges on time and send invoices for payment
- Perform site-level profitability analysis
- Prepare monthly and quarterly cash-flow reports and update Site Controllers
- Review and validate foreign-currency exposures monthly
- Review site headcount against HR and SharePoint data and ensure accurate cost-center reporting
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX and CP&P
Requirements
What you’ll need- Finance Professional (CMA/CA/MBA Finance) with minimum 6-7 years of work experience in FP&A Domain
- Hands-on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools
- Self-starter, suggesting and implementing process improvements
- Ability to balance stakeholders, adapt situationally, manage complexities, and manage ambiguity
- Creative, driven, and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to work hands-on with team members in a management capacity
- High standards of accuracy and highly organized
- Flexible to work according to World Area/site timelines, especially during month ends and specific requests
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or CMA
- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- System knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management
- Power BI or related presentation tools
- Ability to work with ERP systems, reporting tools, and MS Office
