About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with North America project operations and management teams to achieve financial and operational goals
  • Review projects with project operations and contract administration to ensure proper cost application and revenue recognition
  • Complete revenue recognition processes in Oracle and reconcile results
  • Review monthly progress balances for reasonableness and recovery
  • Identify and support execution on critical invoicing opportunities
  • Coordinate completion of external and internal audit visits
  • Prepare the annual budget for North American operations
  • Analyze variances versus the prior year
  • Develop manufacturing, projects, and regional cost center budgets and annual standard costing rates
  • Participate in special projects and analysis, including accounting system updates, Oracle changes related to business changes or acquisitions, and continuous improvement projects
  • Assist with the monthly financial closing process
  • Perform post-hoc reviews of North American sales and profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Word and PowerPoint
  • Solid accounting and financial analysis skills
  • Ability to multitask in a project-oriented environment
  • Commitment to delivering quality analysis to management
  • Ability to articulate professionally and concisely with all levels of management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
